Overview
A summer gathering with guided tours, conversation and a strong opening gesture for Heidelberg’s European cultural dialogue.
For its first salon, Kultur für Europa invited members and guests to a special setting: the Carl Bosch Museum in Heidelberg. The museum team and managing director Sabine König welcomed everyone into the garden and exhibition spaces. Guided tours, informal exchange and the evening discussion ‘Strengthening Europe – Heidelberg and the region’ shaped the programme.
Retrospective
Key impressions, themes and atmosphere from this evening.
The first salon marked the visible launch of the series. The Carl Bosch Museum offered the right setting: historic, open and locally rooted. At its core were encounter, context and the question of how Heidelberg and the region can contribute to a wider European cultural process.
Guided tours, conversations and the open exchange in the garden turned the evening into an opening gesture that made the connection between local culture and a European perspective tangible.
